Definition/Theory (Class Summary)


A hard disk drive is a storage device, which allows to save information such as files, music, pictures, videos, operating systems. etc
The most common used storage unit at the moment in HDD are Gigabytes but there have been introduces Therabytes also, which have 1000 GB. The data inside is magnetically read with a spindle that reads the rotating disk. If you move or shake the hard disk drive while it is rotating it might provoke the loss of information.
